Today I have started the season with some shooting on Kalvebod Shooting center in my hometown Copenhagen, but it is still cold so glows and warm clothe was a must!
When I was on the range I met Tobias from a near by club who just had made a new popper design. The reason for that was that he had got a task from DSF to make a forward falling popper that can be calibrated.
I was lucky to test it and it function very well, we tested it with 9 mm amo: Danish military amo (PF 142), Snail (PF 124), home made (PF 134) and .357 magnum (PF ??).
This popper is a good alternative to the normal backward falling popper, but we have to test it more and hopefully we can use it at the matches on Kalvebod. Maybe this popper will candidate to be IPSC’ new popper safety design?! One thing is for sure – this popper has many possibilities…
See you at the range ;-)
PS: My Sphinx pistol is in Germany waiting for repair! I am looking forward to get it back!!!!
